Email us
The fastest way to reach us is email: contact@honesteldercare.com
We read everything and reply to most messages within two business days. The inbox is staffed by the publishing team, not a call center, and emailing us never signs you up for calls or marketing lists.
What to contact us about
- A number looks wrong. Tell us the page and the figure. Cost corrections are our highest-priority mail; see how we research and correct.
- A program rule changed in your state. Medicaid and VA rules move. If a state agency page disagrees with ours, we want the link.
- You want a topic covered. Reader questions drive our guide list. We cannot answer personal financial or legal questions, but we often turn them into guides that help everyone with the same question.
- Business and partnerships. Advertising and partnership inquiries are welcome by email. Partnerships never influence our figures or explanations; see how we make money.
What we cannot do by email
We cannot give personal financial, legal, medical, or benefits advice, and we cannot review an individual Medicaid application. For personal help, your state's Aging and Disability Resource Center and your local Area Agency on Aging offer free benefits counseling, and an elder law attorney can advise on your family's specific facts.
Urgent situations
If an elder is in immediate danger, call 911. To report suspected elder abuse or neglect, contact your state's Adult Protective Services hotline or the Eldercare Locator at 1-800-677-1116, which connects callers to local help across the United States.
