How We Make Money
Free guides have to be paid for somehow. This page explains, in plain language, every way Honest Elder Care earns money, so you can judge our incentives for yourself.
Advertising
Pages on this site may show display advertising served by networks such as Google AdSense. Advertisers do not write, review, or approve our content, and an ad appearing next to a guide is not an endorsement of that advertiser by this site.
Referral partnerships
Some pages may link to services, such as care providers, insurance products, or planning tools, under agreements that pay us a referral fee if a reader chooses to contact or buy from that service. Where such a link appears, the page discloses it near the link. A referral fee never changes a cost figure, a program rule, or an explanation on this site: our numbers come from published surveys and government sources, and a partner cannot pay to change them.
What we will not do
- Sell reader information to call centers or data brokers.
- Rank, score, or recommend facilities in exchange for payment.
- Hide a commercial relationship behind editorial language.
FTC disclosure
This page serves as our disclosure under the United States Federal Trade Commission's rules on endorsements and material connections (16 CFR Part 255). If a page contains a material connection that is not obvious from context, the page itself carries a clear disclosure.
Questions
If anything about how a page earns money is unclear, ask us at contact. We would rather explain twice than have a reader guess once.
